What does “0% chemical additives” mean?
It means Blueseeds products contain no artificial fragrances, preservatives, surfactants, silicones, or petrochemicals.
We replace them with natural saponins, essential oils, and botanical extracts, achieving effective cleansing and care without chemical harm.
What are Blueseeds’ core values?

How does Blueseeds achieve 100% natural products?
We uphold the philosophy of “purity from the soil.”
From cultivating herbs on our own sustainable farms to gentle botanical extraction and handcrafted production, every step is free from chemical solvents and synthetic additives.
Instead of artificial preservatives, we rely on plants’ natural defenses such as essential oils and phytic acid.
Through low-temperature extraction, we preserve each plant’s active compounds — ensuring our products are truly 100% natural from farm to bottle.
What is Natural Farming?
Natural farming avoids fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, allowing the soil to regenerate naturally through composting, biodiversity, and seasonal cycles.
This method nurtures the earth’s vitality and produces herbs with richer nutrients and authentic aromas.
Where do your essential oils come from?
Approximately 90% of Blueseeds’ essential oils are sourced from smallholder farmers in Taitung, Taiwan, who cultivate their herbs using natural farming methods.
These farms are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers, allowing plants to express their purest aromas and therapeutic energy.
What is Soapwort, and why do you use it instead of synthetic surfactants?
Soapwort is one of Blueseeds’ six core botanical ingredients — a natural plant rich in saponins.
It produces mild foam that cleanses effectively while being gentle on the skin and eco-friendly.
This makes it a sustainable alternative to chemical surfactants.
Production & Safety
Where are Blueseeds products made?
All Blueseeds products are manufactured in Taiwan under ISO 22716 / GMP-certified facilities.
We strictly oversee every stage of production — from ingredient sourcing and formulation to filling and packaging — to ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and quality.
Do your products undergo any testing or certification?
Yes. All Blueseeds products are tested for stability, leakage resistance, and microbiological safety.
Upon request, we can provide MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and COA (Certificate of Analysis) documents.
All products are cruelty-free, reflecting our respect for both life and nature.
Are your products safe for pregnant women or babies?
Our formulas are gentle and natural, making most Blueseeds products suitable for pregnant women and infants.
However, because every skin type and body condition is unique, we recommend performing a patch test before use.
Please note that Lavender essential oil, while soothing, may cause mild hormonal stimulation or skin sensitivity in some individuals — especially during early pregnancy or for those with sensitive skin.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or caring for newborns, please consult your healthcare professional before using products containing essential oils.
How should I store the products? How long do they last after opening?
Unopened products can typically be stored for up to 24 months.Once opened, we recommend using them within 6–12 months, stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Why do the color or scent of products sometimes vary?
Because Blueseeds uses pure, plant-based ingredients, natural variations in climate and harvest seasons may cause slight differences in scent or color.
This is completely normal — it’s proof that our products are free from synthetic colorants and artificial fragrances.

How does Blueseeds practice sustainability and social responsibility?
Blueseeds follows natural farming, operates a zero-wastewater facility, and promotes a refill program to reduce waste.
We donate a portion of our revenue to local communities, indigenous farmers, and social projects.

What is the “Me-Lab”?
Me-Lab is Blueseeds’ fragrance formulation lab — the first fragrance lab in the world designed for the visually impaired.
Led by our founder Stephanie and perfumer Chen Yicheng, Me Lab trains visually impaired individuals to become professional fragrance creators.
Each scent is a story of self-expression and empowerment, turning fragrance into a form of social impact.

Where can I buy Blueseeds products?
At present, Blueseeds products are available exclusively in Taiwan through our official online store and select retail partners.
We also welcome corporate and hospitality collaborations, such as hotels, spas, and eco-friendly gifting.
